The camp will run from 10:00am – 3:00pm, June 24, 25, and 26.
We’re excited to announce that Bushy Run Battlefield’s annual Living History Day Camp will take place on Mon-Wed June 24, 25, and 26 from 10AM to 3PM. The day camp is intended for children leaving first grade through leaving fifth grade. As always, the day camp includes a slate of educational activities to keep campers active and engaged.
The theme for this year’s camp is Native American history. Our volunteers and educators have a great lineup that includes making clothing, learning about tools, making pottery, playing games, and exploring our museum and battlefield.
All volunteers of the Bushy Run Battlefield Heritage Society submit background checks to ensure their suitability for working with and educating children. For the safety of our campers, their legal guardians must submit registration forms to the museum following the purchase of their tickets. Every camper will need their own registration form and waiver completed by their guardian. We cannot admit any campers who do not have registration.
Registration for a child is $90. Members of the Bushy Run Battlefield Heritage Society receive discounted registration of $75. Everyone receives $10 off for additional children they register.
For example, if you would like to register three children, you would pay $90 for the first child, then $80 each to register the second and third child. If you are a member, you would pay $75 for the first child, then $65 each to register the second and third child.
