The Byerly Trail

Are you a descendant of

Andrew Byerly?

Now is the time to honor and preserve your family legacy for generations to come!

This August, we will be dedicating the “Byerly Trail” in honor of Andrew Byerly and his family’s connection to the battlefield and Bushy Run Station.  The new trail will feature benches, two wayside signs, landscaping and will connect to the monument area that was dedicated last year during the 250th Anniversary (see photo on home page – courtesy of Joe Ciferno Photography).   Engraved bricks will be used as the bases around the two benches on the trail.

Please consider purchasing an engraved brick or sponsoring a bench or wayside for your ancestor.  All purchases are tax-deductible and make great gifts!  All bricks purchased through May 23rd will be installed in July for the 251st Anniversary of the Battle of Bushy Run when we dedicate the new trail.  Click on the link below for a brick form.

Interested in sponsoring a bench or wayside?  Call or email us for more information.  Hurry…one bench has already been sponsored, there’s only one left.  Benches will be engraved with the sponsor’s name.  Waysides can also be sponsored and there are two available.  Sponsor’s name will be included on the text on the wayside panel.

Thank you for helping to honor the memory of the Andrew Byerly family!
